A whole half year Probig | Marketing
Since summer 2020, I have been part of the Probig team at Vöcklamarkt (Upper Austria). I was asked if I could imagine to take over the area of (social media) marketing. Since marketing is a focus of my studies and since I was open to try something new, I gladly seized the chance and accepted this challenge.
My career so far...
After completing my five-year education at the Don Bosco schools Vöcklabruck, I decided to continue my studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg at the campus Puch / Urstein. The Bachelor program Innovation & Management with focus on Hospitality - which is designed as an english-speaking part-time program - gives me the opportunity to directly implement the things I have learned in theory.
What exactly I do at Probig...
My area of responsibility encompasses divers marketing activities, whereas the focus is laid on social media and e-marketing. Besides the online presence of Probig, the company's external representation as well as future planning of events are part of my remits. Also, I support my colleagues in the documentary handling of projects and with any office work.
What I am passionate about...
Fitness, yoga, mountaineering, hiking, cycling, volleyball, etc., the sporty balance alongside studies and work should not be missing. Travelling in the summer months is also part of my passion, although I have a preference for Latin America, the language and culture associated with it, and salsa dancing. Thanks to my active membership in the Perchtenverein, I get around a lot not only in Austria but also abroad during the winter months.
Why I am grateful to be a part of Probig ...
Because I was warmly welcomed by my colleagues right from the start and they have been helping and advising me ever since. Combining studies and work in terms of time is often a challenge, especially when the place of residence, work and study are far apart. Thanks to the flexibility of my superiors and the support of my colleagues, I can organize my work flexibly in terms of time and location, which is a great relief for me. I indeed appreciate the trust that is placed in me and the areas of responsibility that have been given to me.
What comes after the Bachelor degree...
A postgraduate master’s degree, additional training or a stay abroad. The latter is probably not possible this year due to the current situation. So, at the very moment I can't exactly tell how things will continue. However, I am still fortunate to take on Probig's marketing with great pleasure.
